LMS
Online assessment platform for corporates and colleges, with coding tests and analytics across three user views.

The problem
10 Seconds already had an assessment platform, and tests were already being conducted on it. It did not scale, it threw a lot of errors, and the interface was dated and looked it. They tried getting it fixed, and that did not work.
The rebuild came in through a referral.
Approach
Built from scratch rather than repaired.
Three views sit over the same assessment data, and each one does a different job. Admin holds everything: all the master data goes in here, colleges, branches, sections, subjects and question papers, and from there tests get set and scheduled, reports generated, broadcast messages sent, with a dashboard over the top. Every main operation happens on this side. The college view is read only, for reports, schedules, student progress and export. The student view is the test itself, aptitude and coding, then scores, reports, progress, ranking and a profile.
Papers are assembled from question banks rather than written one at a time. A test is configured by topic, either by how many questions come from each or by weight, so a paper pulls a spread across topics instead of landing all in one place. Questions are shuffled, and so are the options underneath them, which makes copying off the next screen pointless.
Coding tests are checked through the OneCompiler API, so submitted code runs and is graded rather than read.
Scale was the thing the old platform failed at, so it is the thing this one is built around. It takes up to 2000 students sitting at once, coding and aptitude both.
Supabase had carried the scheduler delivered a month earlier, and it was the right call there: a small admin-only internal tool, quick to stand up, with no reason to pay for a plan it would not use. This was the other case entirely. It had to scale and it had to stay maintainable for years, so FastAPI and PostgreSQL went in instead.
Proctoring runs alongside that. It tracks tab changes and the window losing focus, warns the student each time, and on the third one the test submits itself.
Outcome
Having their own platform gave 10 Seconds credibility, and it helped them crack more deals, more colleges among them. The colleges that signed stayed, for the quality of the training and the tech integration together.
What changed
- Still running 10 Seconds' assessments two years on
- Their delivery reaches 62+ institutions and 11+ corporates across 12 cities
- Built to carry 2000 students sitting at once
