Tropical Blooms
Site design for a homestay in Coorg, built around the stay and the land around it rather than a room list.

The problem
Tropical Blooms is a homestay in Coorg. The work came through the founders of Vanora Robots, for a relative of theirs.
A homestay is not a hotel and should not be sold like one. Nobody books one on room count or amenities, they book it because of where it is and what the few days there will feel like. So the site has to sell Coorg first and the property second.
Approach
Design only, delivered as mockups.
The homepage opens on the valley rather than the building, with the name and a single way in. The navigation splits the proposition in two, Explore and Stay for the property and Experience Coorg for everything around it, which is the order a guest actually thinks in.

Stays are sold as packages rather than nightly rates, so the packages screen is the one that closes. Weekday and weekend sit as alternatives rather than separate pages, each with its length, what is included down to the transfers and the meals, and a photograph set beside it. The route out is an enquiry, not a checkout, which is how a small property with a handful of rooms actually takes a booking.
